Gemma Smith
Gemma has over 10 years experience in private healthcare in the UK and Ireland, having joined the Bupa graduate scheme from Cambridge University in 2002. Gemma spent 4 years in Bupa in a variety of roles in the UK and China and as part of the Group Strategy team.
She also worked in the Private Care division at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust where she was responsible for the management of commercial relationships and contracts with external stakeholders
Gemma spent three years as Head of Business Development for HCA International in London (The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care), with responsibility for business growth through the recruitment and retention of consultants, the development of new services, sales and distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
Gemma has a particular interest in adult oncology and is committed to ensuring that patients receive clinical care and customer service of the highest quality.
